Proceeds support the crucial work of Addiction Recovery in the Mid-Hudson, the MARC Foundation's mission is to provide financial support for prevention and treatment of substance use disorders. In addition to aiding organizations fighting against substance misuse, the MARC Foundation has · helped create an Overdose Awareness Memorial, · supported the annual Overdose Awareness Day, · provided scholarships for recovering substance abusers who want to work as addiction counselors, · created transition funds for those moving from community residences to mainstream life, · supported members of local Oxford Houses, · and improved local community residences. |
